A giant wedding cake piñata

Ok here's the tip. Be good friends with the illustrious Robert Mahar. Convince him to shoot the pilot of a show where you DIY wedding decor for people (but haha the person in question is YOU). Shoot several episodes of this potential show. Reap the rewards of said crafting at your own wedding. This really was such a fun touch! The venue wouldn't let us break the piñata for insurance reasons, so Robert fashioned a trap door on the bottom and we filled the piñata with glow bracelets. When dinner was over and we wanted everyone to flood onto the dance floor, David and I opened the piñata and it really got the party started!
